News: Raytown woman dies after being struck by minivan on Missouri 350

RAYTOWN, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol released details of a fatal pedestrian accident that occurred in Jackson County on Sunday morning.

 

The incident happened on Missouri 350 at Blue Ridge Boulevard shortly after 10 a.m.

 

According to the MSHP, the driver of a 2013 Honda Odyssey minivan was heading east when the vehicle traveled off the right side of the roadway and struck a pedestrian.

 

The victim, 35-year-old Heather Klemenz of Raytown, Missouri, was transported by Raytown EMS to Research Hospital, where she was pronounced dead.  No injuries were reported for the driver, an 18-year-old Lee’s Summit woman.

 

The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Raytown Police Department.
