KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City, Missouri police are investigating a pedestrian fatality that occurred early Thursday morning.
According to a KMBC report, the incident happened on Interstate 435 eastbound near Wornall Road.
Police arrived at about 6 a.m. and found a pedestrian dead at the scene. An initial investigation indicated that the victim was standing or walking along the southernmost lane of eastbound I-435 when they were hit by a Ford F-150.
The Ford driver stopped after the crash, was not injured, and cooperated with police in their investigation.
