News: Pedestrian seriously injured after being struck by vehicle on US 65

PETTIS COUNTY, MO – State troopers said a pedestrian was seriously injured after being hit by a vehicle in Pettis County Saturday night.

 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, the incident occurred on US 65 south of Honda Road at 8:25 p.m.

 

An investigation determined that 82-year-old John Yardley of Warsaw, Missouri was driving a 2022 Ford Maverick northbound when he struck a pedestrian walking near the right edge of the roadway.

 

The victim, 26-year-old Devin Miller of Warsaw, was taken to University Hospital for treatment of serious injuries.
