News: Pedestrian seriously injured after being hit by vehicle in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City police said a person was hit by a vehicle Wednesday and hospitalized, acording to KSHB.

 

The victim was struck by a silver Infiniti in the vicinity of east Truman Road and Cleveland Avenue. Investigators said the pedestrian stepped into lanes of traffic and was hit as the Infiniti crossed under a railroad bridge while headed west on Truman Road.

 

The person suffered serious injuries that were not regarded as life-threatening. Police said the driver did not exhibit any indications of being impaired.
