News: Motorcyclist dies after colliding with pickup on E. 67th Street

KANSAS CITY, MO – A motorcyclist died following a collision in Kansas City on Wednesday morning, state troopers said.

 

WDAF reports the victim was identified as 48-year-old Nicklaus Cianciarulo of Kansas City.

 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Cianciarulo was driving a Harley Davidson motorcycle east on E. 67th Street when the incident occurred at about 10:30 a.m.

 

When the driver of a Dodge Ram pickup truck entered 67th Street northbound from a private drive near Blue Ridge Boulevard, the motorcyclist crashed into the Dodge.

 

Cianciarulo was pronounced dead at the scene.  The Missouri State Highway Patrol is investigating the cause of the accident.
