KANSAS CITY, MO – A crash in Kansas City Monday afternoon left a motorcycle rider critically injured, police said.
The incident took place in the area of East 76th Terrace and The Paseo, according to a report by KSHB.
An investigation indicated that a man was driving a Suzuki Katana motorcycle at a high rate of speed when the collision happened shortly before 2 p.m. The motorcycle, traveling along The Paseo, crashed into a Toyota Camry that was headed east on East 76th Terrace.
The motorcyclist was thrown from the bike and was rushed to an area hospital. Police said he was wearing a helmet at the time. The driver of the Camry was not injured in the crash.
