BENTON COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol responded to the scene of a motorcycle accident in Benton County on Monday evening.
In its crash report, the MSHP said the incident occurred in the area of Golf Road and Truman Road shortly after 5 p.m.
According to investigators, the operator of a 2006 Harley Davidson motorcycle failed to stop at the intersection. The bike went off the roadway and overturned, ejecting both the driver and passenger.
The driver, 53-year-old Richard A. Richardson, was seriously injured and airlifted to University Hospital. The passenger, 50-year-old Katrina A. Moore, refused treatment at the scene. Both are from Warsaw, Missouri.
