News: Mother, daughter injured in collision with tow truck in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – A collision on Interstate 435 in Kansas City Wednesday evening injured a woman and her young daughter, according to WDAF.

 

Police said the woman was driving a Chevrolet sedan south on I-435 near Eastwood Trafficway at about 6:11 p.m. when the vehicle crashed into the rear of a Chevrolet flatbed tow truck.

 

The 38-year-old woman was hospitalized in serious condition, while her 6-year-old daughter was listed in critical condition.  The tow truck driver was not injured.

 

Two southbound lanes on I-435 were shut down for about two hours for the investigation into the crash.
