News: Man, woman injured in Lafayette County rollover accident

LAFAYETTE COUNTY, MO – Two people were taken to the hospital after their vehicle crashed in Lafayette County on Monday night, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol.

 

The MSHP was called to the scene on Route N north of Willard Road after the accident occurred at about 7:30 p.m.

 

State troopers said the driver of a 2000 Ford Ranger was headed eastbound when he failed to negotiate a curve.  The vehicle went off the roadway, struck a fence and a traffic sign, and overturned.

 

The driver, 39-year-old Jack C. Hamm of Warrensburg, Missouri, and the passenger, 32-year-old Rebecca A. King of Kansas City, Missouri, both suffered moderate injuries.  They were taken by EMS to Lafayette Regional Medical Center for treatment.  The vehicle was totaled and towed away from the scene.
