KANSAS CITY, MO – A speeding driver was involved in a serious car accident in Kansas City on Friday night, reports KSHB.
Police said the driver of a Honda Civic was going at very high speeds while headed north on Ward Parkway at about 10:16 p.m., and failed to negotiate a curve.
The driver went off the road south of Brush Creek and the vehicle collided with a tree. The person was rushed to the hospital and was listed in critical condition. No one else was in the vehicle at the time.
The wreck is under investigation by Kansas City police.
