News: Car slams into CVS store on Brookside Boulevard in Kansas City

KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City police were dispatched to the scene of a car crash at a store in the Brookside neighborhood on Friday morning, according to WDAF.

 

Officers arrived shortly after 2:15 a.m. to find that a vehicle had crashed into a CVS store at 63rd Street and Brookside Boulevard.

 

There were no immediate reports of injuries, but the store’s entrance sustained significant damage. The driver involved left the scene before police arrived.

 

The incident is being investigated as a possible burglary but there was no word on whether any property was stolen. The store was temporarily closed while the damage was being repaired.
