News: 4 injured in rollover accident on Highway F in Jackson County

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – A rollover accident in Jackson County on Saturday afternoon sent four people to the hospital, authorities said.

 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s crash report, the driver of a GMC Suburban was traveling north on Missouri F Highway just north of Colbern Road at about 2 p.m. when the vehicle went off the roadway.

 

The Suburban struck a fence and then overturned.   The driver, a 74-year-old man,  and two passengers, a 72-year-old woman and a 12-year-old girl, suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Centerpoint Medical Center.  Another passenger, a female whose age was not released, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Children’s Mercy in Kansas City.

 

The four victims, all residents of Lone Jack, Missouri, were not wearing safety devices at the time of the crash.

 

The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Oak Grove Police Department, Sini Valley Fire and EMS, Lone Jack Fire and EMS, and Southern Jackson County Fire and EMS.
