News: 3 women injured when car runs off road, crashes on Highway 65

SALINE COUNTY, MO – Three women were injured when their car was involved in a crash in Saline County early Thursday morning, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

 

In its crash report, the MSHP said the incident occurred on Highway 65 south of 110th Road shortly after 12:30 a.m.

 

According to troopers, 21-year-old Katelyn Weaver of Marion, Illinois, was driving a 2016 Nissan southbound when the vehicle ran off the roadway into the median and struck an embankment.

 

Weaver and her two passengers, 21-year-old Xiana Koehlerturner of Los Alamitos, California, and 23-year-old Ariel Ochoa of Lake Charles, Louisiana, were transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by Saline County EMS. All three sustained what were described as moderate injuries. The vehicle was reported to have been totaled.

 

The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Saline County Sheriff’s Department.
