News: 3 injured when vehicles collide on southbound US 65

SALINE COUNTY, MO – Authorities said three people were injured in a two-vehicle crash in Saline County early Thursday morning.

 

According to the Missouri State Highway Patrol, 21-year-old Chelsea Weber of Sweet Springs, Missouri, was driving a Mercury Milan northbound on U.S. 65 east of Golden Avenue at about 12:30 a.m. when she crossed over the center line.

 

The Milan struck the front of a southbound Dodge Dakota driven by 40-year-old Jennifer Fetty of Blackburn, Missouri. Weber and her passenger, 27-year-old Rose ODonnell of Malta Bend, Missouri, were treated at the scene for minor injuries and released.

 

Fetty was transported by private vehicle to Fitzgibbon Hospital with minor injuries. Extensive damage was reported to both vehicles.

 

The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Saline County Sheriff’s Department.
