News: 2-vehicle crash in Saline County sends driver to hospital

SALINE COUNTY, MO – A two-vehicle collision in Saline County on Saturday afternoon sent one of the drivers to the hospital, authorities said.

 

The Missouri State Highway Patrol issued a crash report on the incident that occurred on southbound U.S. 65 near Keokuk Avenue shortly after 5 p.m.

 

According to state troopers, the driver of a 2014 Ford truck driven by 75-year-old Barbara Nobis of Paris, Missouri, failed to yield and traveled into the path of a 2020 Ford SUV, causing a collision.

 

The driver of the SUV, 68-year-old Mabel Collins of Marshall, Missouri, sustained moderate injuries and was transported to Fitzgibbon Hospital by a private party for treatment. She was wearing a seat belt at the time of the crash, the MSHP said.
