News: 2 drivers injured when vehicles collide head-on on Missouri 13

JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – A two-vehicle crash in Johnson County on Monday morning left both drivers hospitalized, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.

 

The MSHP reported that the collision occurred on Missouri 13 at Route H at about 7:20 a.m. Investigators said 29-year-old Imran Ahmad was driving a 2018 Nissan northbound on Missouri 13 when he crossed the center dividing line.

 

The Nissan collided head-on with a southbound 2011 Ford driven by 35-year-old Santos A. Timoteo of Belton.

 

Ahmed, a Warrensburg resident, suffered serious injuries and was transported to Centerpoint Hospital.  Timoteo, a resident of Belton, sustained minor injuries and was taken to Western Missouri Medical Center.
