News: 16-year-old driver hospitalized after crash near Warrensburg

JOHNSON CO., MO – A teen driver was sent to the hospital following a multi-vehicle crash on US-50 near Warrensburg on Wednesday.

 

According to a report by the MSHP, the crash happened at about 5:50 p.m. in the eastbound lanes of the freeway near the exit to Devasher Road.

 

Troopers say a 2021 Ford F-150 slowed for traffic near a construction zone when it was rear-ended by a 2000 Ford F-150.

 

The driver of the 2000 Ford, a 16-year-old, was taken to Western MO Medical Center with minor injuries. The other driver involved was unhurt.
