PLATTE COUNTY, MO – A two-vehicle collision on Interstate 29 in Platte County on Wednesday evening left one of the drivers injured.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that the incident happened on southbound I-29 at the 2.8-mile marker at about 6:09 p.m.
According to state troopers, the driver of a 2022 Kia K5 crossed over into the left lane and struck the rear of a 2010 Subaru Legacy while both vehicles were traveling south.
The driver of the Kia, 28-year-old Shabree Lovelace of Kansas City, Missouri, suffered minor injuries and was reported to be seeking her own treatment. The other driver, a 21-year-old Kansas City woman, was not injured.
