JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – An accident in Johnson County involving an all-terrain vehicle sent two people to the hospital, the Missouri State Highway Patrol said.
It happened Sunday afternoon in the 60 block of SW 600 Road west of Missouri Highway 13, about 10 miles south of Warrensburg.
First responders arrived at about 3:50 p.m. and found that the driver of a 2023 C-Force 1100 4-wheeler had lost control and veered off the right side of the road. The vehicle hit a fence and a post, causing the two people in it to be ejected.
The driver, 34-year-old James R. Farley, was transported to Western Missouri Medical Center with what KCTV reported were life-threatening injuries. His passenger, 34-year-old Davis A. Fairly, went to the same hospital with injuries that were serious but not life-threatening.
