KANSAS CITY, MO – Kansas City Police said a male juvenile was struck by a car and rushed to the hospital last Wednesday afternoon.
According to KCTV, the accident took place on the entrance ramp to westbound 152 Highway near N. Congress Avenue.
Investigators said the victim was running south on the sidewalk on N. Congress Avenue shortly before 4 p.m. and was struck by a Lexus RX450.
The boy was listed in serious but stable condition after being transported to an area hospital. The Lexus driver was not hurt and remained at the scene.
Police are continuing to investigate the cause of the crash.
