HENRY COUNTY, MO – Three people were injured in a crash in Henry County on Monday afternoon, according to the Missouri State Highway Patrol’s accident report.
The crash occurred on Missouri 18, about a half-mile west of County Road 401. State troopers said the driver of a 1998 Ford Mustang was heading west at 12:30 p.m. and travelled off the right side of the roadway. When the driver over-corrected, the vehicle veered off the left side of the road and hit a guardrail. The car returned to the roadway and went off the right side again before coming to rest.
The driver, 23-year-old Skyler Portman, and a passenger, 22-year-old James Lysinger, sustained moderate injuries. Another passenger, 23-year-old Jonathon Long, suffered minor injuries. All three, who are residents of Clinton, Missouri, refused treatment at the scene.
