News: Motorcyclist injured after colliding with vehicle on Missouri 350

JACKSON COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a man was injured in a motorcycle accident in Jackson County on Saturday night.

 

According to KSHB, the crash happened at the intersection of Missouri Route 350 and Maple Street at about 8:30 p.m.

 

The MSHP said the 26-year-old driver of a 2016 Harley Davidson motorcycle was going east on Missouri 350 and went through a green light at Maple Street.   The driver of a 2015 Kia Optima was making a left turn at the intersection and collided with the motorcycle.

 

The motorcyclist, a Blue Springs resident, was listed in serious condition after being transported to an area hospital.  No other injuries were reported.

 

The collision remains under investigation by state troopers.
