News: Collision between police car and vehicle in Kansas City injures 2

KANSAS CITY, MO – A police car was involved in a collision with another vehicle in Kansas City on Sunday morning, according to WDAF.

 

The crash happened in the area of Oak Street and 75th Street at about 9:17 a.m.

 

An investigation indicated that the marked police car was heading east on 75th Street with its red lights and siren on. At the intersection with Oak Street, the police vehicle collided with a northbound Honda Civic.

 

The police officer and the driver of the Honda both sustained injuries that were not life-threatening, and were transported to an area hospital for treatment. Police are continuing to investigate the crash.
