PLEASANT HILL, MO – A woman was injured when an all-terrain vehicle she was riding in crashed on a road in Cass County Saturday evening.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol released details of the incident in its traffic crash report.
The MSHP said the driver of a 2016 Polaris ATV was headed west on County Road 161st near Hadsell Road at about 5:36 p.m. The driver lost control on the gravel road and the vehicle overturned.
A passenger, 37-year-old Ashley Dykes of Pleasant Hill, Missouri, suffered moderate injuries and was transported by Lifelight Air Ambulance to Research Medical Center. She was not wearing a safety device, troopers said. No injuries were reported to the driver, 42-year-old Paul Dykes of Pleasant Hill.
The MSHP was assisted at the scene by the Pleasant Hill Police Department.
