KANSAS CITY, MO – Authorities were at the scene of a truck accident that affected traffic in Kansas City on Wednesday afternoon, reports KMBC.
A dump truck that appeared to be carrying gravel overturned on the 3-Trails Crossing Memorial Highway shortly before 1 p.m. There was no immediate word on whether anyone was injured.
The incident shut down the westbound ramp from Interstate 470 to U.S. Highway 71 and drivers were being advised to seek alternate routes.
The cause of the accident was under investigation.
