JOHNSON COUNTY, MO – The Missouri State Highway Patrol said a man fell out of a pickup truck in Johnson County last week and was killed.
According to KCTV, the victim was identified as 54-year-old Burnie Jordan of Waverly. State troopers said the accident took place Thursday morning on Missouri Highway 13 south of Pertle Springs shortly before 8 a.m.
Jordan was riding in the bed of a Ford F-150 pickup truck when he fell out of the vehicle and hit the pavement, according to investigators.
Jordan was pronounced dead after being transported to Research Medical Center.
