KANSAS CITY, MO – A car accident outside a Kansas City church on Saturday afternoon left two children hospitalized.
According to KCTV, a driver lost control of a vehicle in the area of NE 49th Street and North Campbell Street at 4:12 p.m. The car crashed into a tree near where a group of people were attempting to leave an event at the church.
Two children suffered what were described as possible serious injuries and were transported to an area hospital. The driver of the vehicle was not injured.
